What is the Digital Product Sale?

This sales campaign will run from March 13 – May 15, 2026.

  • New springtime fundraiser to help our Scouts earn money to attend camp and other Scouting activities.
  • This fundraiser is also a great opportunity for Packs, Troops and Crews to earn funds for unit projects, advancement items, and other resources that help make Scouting happen for their youth. There is no physical inventory to manage, no cash payments to handle, and no delivery burden.
  • The Digital Product Sale is a proven fundraiser by Scouting America, which provides approved products, digital platform and a prize program for participating Scouts.
  • There are two products available for this Digital Product Sale. Units and Scouts are able to participate in one or both product sales campaigns.
  • Scouts will be selling these items online via email, text message or QR code that they (and their parents) can create and share.
  • Open to all Scouting units in the Hoosier Trails Council.

Commission earned is $6.00 for each doughnut voucher sold, $5.00 for one bag & three bag variety pack, and $7.00 for six bag value pack. The unit is paid commission funds from the Council on April 3, April 24, May 15 and May 29. There are no upfront costs for the unit.

There is a prize program for Scouts that participate in the sale.

Getting Started

  • Unit leaders will sign up to participate. Sign in using your my.scouting account credentials. To activate the campaign(s) the unit would like to join, select and follow directions. The request will then be approved by the Council.
  • Once Council approval is received, the unit leader will then be able to forward an invitation for individual Scouts to create their sales page.
  • Scouts will use their own sales page to make sales.
  • Units and Scouts are able to participate in both product sales campaigns.
  • All products will be available for sale starting on March 13.

Selling Methods

  • Scouts create a digital page for product sales. They can email, text and share this digital page on social media. Customers will purchase products via the digital page. Payments are also processed digitally.
  • Storefront sales are possible. Scouts can set up a table or booth and make sales via their digital pages on a laptop, tablet or cell phone. Scouts can also build a display, use a QR code that they created, and customers can purchase using the QR code. Units will need to contact these businesses to make arrangements to sell. The Council will not set up storefront sales for this fundraiser. Please be courteous when contacting businesses and interacting with other selling units.
  • When selling door-to-door or storefront, be sure to abide by Safeguarding Youth policies to make sure Scouts are safe and well-supervised.
  • Scouts are encouraged to wear their field uniform when selling cards.

 

The Digital Product Sale has a prize program provided by Scouting America. Scouts receive points for each product sold. As Scouts accumulate points, they can earn Amazon Gift Cards at the levels listed below. Each product sale – Krispy Kreme and Coffee – will tally points separately. So, if a Scout participates in both sales, the points gained from each one do not combine for one total gift card. They can earn two gift cards, depending on sales made with each product line.

Prizes will be provided to the unit leader by Friday, May 29th.

Krispy Kreme – A dozen doughnuts. Purchasers will receive a digital voucher good at any Krispy Kreme location for one dozen doughnuts.

  • A Krispy Kreme voucher for one dozen doughnuts sells retail for $19.65 each.
